Our challenge for this month is a photo inspiration challenge. You may choose the colors, the layout, or just some detail as inspiration for your cards.

As I've always admired the Dilly Beans images but never found the courage to use one, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity...
So the Stripey Long Neck stamp found it's way to me... I love this series, might be you'll see some of these Guys in the future.

I must admit that coloring her hair was not that easy... It took me quite a while, and finally I cheated a bit: I printed the image twice. The first I cut out slightly smaller than the card front and colored the skin, eyes and so on. On the second, I colored only the hair, coming in from outside the hair lines. For me that was easier, not having to take care for anything surrounding the hair. It looked quite messy, but after I cut out the hair part, and glued it to the first print, everything was fine.

It might not be the best hair coloring in the world, but to me it's okay.

I hope that lots of you are going to join this challenge, it's my last as a DT member at house of cards. I loved it, the team is great! If I had more time, I'd stay - but as things are at the time, I  am happy of each quiet moment. So this is my last HOC DT-Post, but I'll be back as a participant for sure :-)
